4 pounds pork
24 oz root beer
36 oz BBQ sauce
Cook on low in crockpot 6-7 hours.
Drain and add some more BBQ sauce.
Pull and serve on buns.

Goody Buns/Christmas Eve Sandwiches
1 pound ground ham or bologna
1/ 2 pound ground cheese
1/4 c dill relish
Mayonnaise
Combine all ingredients. Fill rolls or hamburger buns. Wrap in foil.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Island Pork Tenderloin
- 16 ounces pork tenderloin, lean
- 1⁄2teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2teaspoon chile powder
- 1⁄2teaspoon ground cumin
- 1⁄2teaspoon cinnamon
- 2teaspoons olive oil
- 1⁄4cup brown sugar, packed
- 1⁄2tablespoon fresh garlic, finely chopped
- 1⁄2tablespoon Tabasco sauce
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Stir together salt, pepper, cumin, chile powder, and cinnamon, then coat pork with the spice rub.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a 12-inch skillet over moderately high heat and brown pork, turning, about 4 minutes.
- Stir together brown sugar, garlic, and Tabasco and pat onto top of tenderloin. Place pork in a roasting pan and cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
