My grandma Hansen always made these. I like them, but have never actually made them. . .maybe one day.
3/4 c butter
1 c sugar
2 eggs
3 c flour
1/4 t salt
1/2 t soda
1 c crushed pineapple
2/3 c nuts
Cream butter and sugar and eggs. Then add flour and salt and soda. gently stir in pineapple and nuts. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
Icing:
Heat 4 T butter
4 T milk
Add powdered sugar until desired consistency. Frost when cool.
