1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
Take it out to soften while you work on this next part.
3/4 c softened butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1 chocolate cake mix
1 c chopped nuts
Mix and bake 12 minutes at 400.
Crumble and cool.
Layer crumbs, ice cream, crumbs, ice cream, crumbs in a 9x13 pan.
1/2 gallon of ice cream in a rectangle box works well sliced the long way in 4ths.
Freeze for a couple hours at least. If frozen hard, then take out a bit before serving to soften just a bit.
